Though the cycling season has ended but Alberto Contador is still busy doing his works. Guess what? Contador will soon be seen in a television serial called “Fenomenos” where he is working as an actor. The serial is basically a Spanish Comedy and it is telecast on Antena 3. Contador finished the shhoting of his part and he is now eagerly waiting for the show to be telecast.

The former Tour de France champion has played a role where he features himself. The new series of “Fenomenos” is reported to be telecast soon. Though Alberto Contador played a cameo as an actor in this serial he is not taking acting seriously right now, he said on being asked. The former Giro d’Italia champion also stated that he enjoyed the shooting very much and it was a lovely experience.

The director also spoke of Contador saying that he is pretty happy with the effort that this cycling star had made in the shooting floor. He also asserted that Contador very much liked the idea of working as a TV actor from the very beginning. The serial will not only have Alberto Contador but it will also feature athletes in the likes of Carlos Moya, former tennis superstar, Jorge Garbajosa, ex-basketball player etc.

The Saxo Bank-Tinkoff Bank rider has had a more or less good season in 2012 where he registered a stage win as well as an overall win in Vuelta a Espana. After coming back from a doping ban Contador took part at the Eneco tour back in August where he was placed fourth overall. He filed another victory this year in Milano-Torino and he ended his season by finishing at ninth spot at the Giro d Lombardia. Now it’s time to see how Contador manages as an actor!
